Senior Coordinator – Health & Safety
International group, large development project in Central Europe, 3 year renewable contract
My client is one of Europe’s largest integrated energy groups (electricity and gas) and has a word-wide presence. They are currently enlarging a multi-site energy installation in Central Europe and are seeking a Senior Coordinator, Health and Safety.
The mission :
Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Coordinator Health and Safety will work with the management team to develop, recommend and plan for successful health and safety outcomes during project delivery phase. This role is also responsible for leading a small Health and Safety team and supporting the project leaders in their pursuit of outstanding Health & Safety performance.
The main challenges are to ensure that the design, communication, implementation and sustainability of the Health and Safety systems meet the highest international standards and that these are embedded in daily matching behaviours.
The profile :
• Degree level qualifications and significant operational Health and Safety management experience in a leadership role within a multinational energy or industrial company.
• Sound understanding of system design concepts, technical knowledge of Health and Safety theory and at least 10 years experience in designing and implementing health and safety systems.
• Strong communication skills combined with the ability to influence internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience working in fast developing economies, preferably in Eastern and Central Europe and the ability to understand and relate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Fluency in English as the working language of the Group. Knowledge of a Central European language or Russian will be an advantage.
The offer :
A three year renewable employment contract with a highly attractive management remuneration package will be offered consisting of a base salary, incentive bonus, assignment allowance, company car and housing.
